Boris Johnson and Optimism

I enjoyed reading this short and optimistic piece in The Commentator. The article looks at what Boris Johnson can and should do now that he’s become Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Adam Honeysett-Watts writes about the importance of “not put off having debates — for fear of offending — about controlling immigration and legalising drugs, and about funding for health and social care, as well as protecting the environment, for these issues matter and will matter even more in the future.”

I realize that a lot of people are deeply skeptical about how Johnson will perform. We’ll just have to wait and see.
